That'll never happen, they're a name brand, but at least they're good, I remember back when ND was really bad, like 3-9, they still got a lot of media attention, Herbie went on a rant like "why are we still talking about Notre Dame?"

The best thing ND did was keep Brian Kelly after that 4-8 season, he’s the best coach they’ve had since Lou Holtz, they’re a consistent 10-11 win team now, they’ve made a National Title game and 2 CFP semis, and while they’ve choked every single time on the big stage, honestly this is Notre Dame’s ceiling, I don’t think they can be a dynastic type team like they were 40 years ago.

All of the good teams that they play traditional had ben down making their schedule way more manageable. And an undefeated Notre Dame is automatically in.

Stop overrating Campbell at Iowa State too. He learned from Chizik. He's not going anywhere. He's gotten better offers

Huh Campbell has done a great job at Iowa State and is smart to not have left yet for just the first job offer that's a little better than ISU
