We'll see.. I could see OU ppl leaking that. A guy like him is just trying to get to the league. I'm sure money and benefits and all that are being thrown at him, but I really highly doubt that's a motivating force behind his decision. He's trying to angle his way up the draft board for 2024.

Maybe. But dominating Big 12 defenses isn't the question. The question is getting a QB to the NFL. OU's entire "putting QB in the NFL" talking point is entirely predicated on a guy who ain't coaching there anymore.

But they get to hand pick where they go now so they should be looking at what places prepares them the best for the NFL. If I’m Caleb Williams I’m looking at Maryland hard, yea they not goin to give me the NIL money a school like UGA would but I’m playing for Mike Locksley who is a good QB developer, I’m playing around some nice talent like Rakim Jarrett at WR, and it’s his home state. Kirby smart has literally shown he will stockpile QB talent and fumble the position horribly
