Negged.

This is EXACTLY what I was worried about, and why I said that game two was going to be huge if the Bruins could win.

They would be in this game if they weren't being fukking idiots taking terrible penalties. There are going to be penalties, but two of them that they took were beyond awful. Why are you slashing and then giving a forearm to the back of the head after a check when the puck is out of the zone?:mindblown:.
They've been getting away with it for years. Old habits die hard. :yeshrug: :umad:

I appreciate his sentiments but the reality is only 26% of the league is American. Their bubble is in Canada. US sports don't shut down over tragedies in Mexico. Nobody's protesting because of what's happening in Yemen that our government is helping fund. China is basically enslaving Uyghurs and subverting Hong Kong's sovereignty but the games go on here.

This just happens to be having a real impact in the US but there are similar atrocities worldwide and it's business as usual to that.

Well, hopefully this is one of those games where Tampa Bay "used up all of their goals" for this series.:manny:.

As I said last night, that is why I thought game two was extremely important. This series can change quickly, but tonight was ugly.

Nah, I don’t think that’s it, majority of hockey players are white, privileged suburban kids from US and Canada, race issues and police brutality aren’t things they have to or need to care about. It doesn’t help that the sport itself is super expensive to play that gives off the sentiment and mentality it’s a white sport. Had one of these teams have a 3-4 black players I think the games wouldn’t happen. NHL is getting destroyed on social media for their nonchalant response, so I’ll be interested to see what happens tomorrow.

There's more Euros than US players. :yeshrug:

74% of the league is Canadian or European.

If the Bruins don't win on Friday, this series is over in five.

Tampa Bay has better forwards, defense-men, and goal-tending. The one thing the Bruins have is the best first line in the NHL, but it's not like the Lightning's top line is chop liver. They are one of the best as well.

And, this is without Stamkos and McDonough playing.

I knew once Ritchie took that penalty that this was going to be a rough game. And, once the Bruins got a little momentum and cut the lead, McAvoy committed a stupid penalty.......followed by the linesman getting in the way and directly leading to a goal.

A lot of idiotic Bruins fans blaming the officials for those calls, but the calls were correct. They were obvious penalties, and incredibly dumb penalties to take. These were Bruins Lucic type penalties.
