I don’t give that kid enough consideration for that 3rd spot but man I couldn’t be mad if Mitch went that route. Hayes should be the first pick if not for sure in the convo

something about Okongwu I like, maybe because I’m annoyed that Bam Adebayo wanted the Hornets to pick him so he could play close to home

Mitch has all-star potential in the East. He just has to stop fouling at the rate he does. Mitch was hurt by the fact that nobody knew how to judge what he could be. Two years later, most if not everyone would take him over Bamba and Carter.

And yet still, Mitch in 2020 doesn't warrant a top-3 pick, which is what you've set the bar at for Wiseman.

Unless you're some transcendent, versatile big like AD, the game is passing by big-types like Wiseman, where they simply don't have the value as they did once upon a time. You know how important versatility is at the guard/wing position in today's game. Wiseman needs a franchise that can give him an infinite leash, be willing to go all-in to build around him, and go against the direction the league is headed in.
