Not that there's much to talk about since we have no clue when this draft (thus, why I haven't started the coli mock draft), but the word is that the team picking first is only really looking at LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards. Now, the idea is that they'll take Edwards because most people think that's conventional wisdom, but if they don't trade the pick before the draft, they may just draft Ball and keep him on the trade block. Further complicating things is that they'd like to bring back their RFA guard and at 17 and 33, they may prefer a guard there. The Desmond Bane's, Grant Riller's, the Tyrell Terry's, even someone like R.J. Hampton or Tyrese Maxey will be available.
The idea of keeping Ball available on the trade block is just lower whatever trade value Golden State has at #2.

So as I posted in the Dubs thread, Supposedly, the Dubs might be looking for a wing with the #2 pick.
I guess that pretty much locks in Edwards as a top 2 pick, but if this is true, now Charlotte can lock in Wiseman at #3.
Tons of options and #1 still dictates what happens, though it looks like it's either Ball, Edwards or Trade.

The only reason why Devin Vassell's stock is not higher than Anthony Edwards is coronavirus because I'm convinced he woulda won the National title this year with the Noles.

Not sure on this one.
Efficiency is a concern for both of them, but Edwards is taller and more athletic so I think he has a better chance of translating.
Cole has to hope he'll end up on the right team that will let him handle the ball and cook. The only place Edwards could go that wouldn't give him a greenlight is GS.
