Obi is a guy who I think will only be effective if you run the offense through him. I'm not sure if the Knicks want to do that with Barrett there.

Even if he carves out a Enes Kanter type of role in the league that would be a waste of his potential IMO although Kanter is good.

Meh, we had Kanter. A double double machine and a bucket in the post but a flopping black hole with terrible defense and a big mouth.

Obi is a different player entirely he can shoot the three and is an elite vertical explosive leaper and he can also pass off the roll to the interior he can make the basic reads.

Hampton has the scenario that scares kids from going overseas, simply because of what you just mentioned.
