It doesn't matter. He went and had a pro off-season once he couldn't play anymore and he showed he's talented.

If teams are stupid enough to pick him later than he should that's on them. As long as he is in the league and gets a chance to play that's all that's relevant. Giannis isn't hurting from being the 15th pick. As long as you have opportunity.

Pro off-season can only get you so far when 1. He's only played a few games since graduating high school and 2. He is more than likely not going to be able to contribute any meaningful minutes right away wherever he gets drafted and 3. He hasn't been able to do anything to erase or ease the mind of scouts and doubters who question his long term potential.

It's literally going to be over a year and a half before he actually gets to play meaningful basketball again. The people in his circle fukked up big time.

He's a better defensive big than Ayton but not a specialist at all. He's also just a bigger dude in general. So Ayton gives you more offense, he gives you more defense, but that doesn't mean he's good on defense, just better than Ayton on defense.

Right now he reminds me of Deandre Jordan, but I'm not sure how polished he is. He may be better than Jordan was as a shooter or post player, but small sample size makes it hard to tell

There's no way that he can be the player that GS needs him to be Year 1 with the long layoff that he's had. Practicing can only get you so far. Dude needed to finish that season in Memphis.

The talent is there. He came out and had monster numbers the games he played. He wasn't going to get worse. If anything him not playing led to him not showing out how good he could be.

Hes tall and he has a big radius of where he can reach when it comes to boards and blocks. And I've seen him shoot well enough to know that spacing isn't an issue. And he'd be too big to go small on him without him gaining advantages.

Mpj didn't play, embiid was injured for a while. Darius Bazley foregod college and went and trained. But because of their talent level they weren't left far behind and still did well. Wiseman wasn't Injured.

Seeing how teams all have one impactul big I can see how he's not a bad one to have. And seeing sun's go 8 and 0. I don't mind him being an Ayton. The responsibility is on what you do with the rest of the team.

I honestly wonder if ATL would draft Ball. Apparently he has a few stans in our FO but they are afraid of the fit with Trae.

I'm not saying that he won't drafted high or be a good player, I'm just saying that he fukked up by not finishing out the season in Memphis. 3 games just isn't enough footage to ease doubts in the scouts mind about the type of player he would be. MPJ didn't play, but dude looked like a bonafide superstar when he did play in high school. Embiid was injured in college, but he did show potential when he did play. Scouts have had worries and doubts about Wiseman's effort and motor and not playing at all isn't going to help ease their doubts.

The problem with the draft this year is that there's not that one impact player that GS needs year 1 to get them back as a true contender. Wiseman won't be that player right away nor will Edwards and Melo.
