could have easily had bubbles in hick ass states with low covid numbers and play in triple a stadiums

This as well, shyt college towns work as well, if We in Houston would’ve gotten our shyt together in time we have something close to 20 playable stadiums if you include our colleges and mlb size high school stadiums.

Kansas City would’ve worked as well, perhaps Colorado, they could’ve gotten an additional assist from the unused nfl and mls stadiums to get more playing fields to run games on.
MLB should’ve done this shyt simulation mode and packed in as many games per day in a singular location as quick as possible if they wanted a season.

with all the damn minor leaguers out there they should’ve easily run a simulation just to mimic the logistics. Pay the minor leaguers some hazard pay and then when you get the formula right, swap everyone out (umps, staff, etc) and let the big leaguers to their thing.

No way this couldn’t have have been done. They literally had from April to mid July to hash out a couple of scenarios.

You wouldn’t even have to give them hazard pay, the Sugarland Skeeters are playing 4 in town minor league teams as I type this and I doubt they are even getting regular pay much less hazard

Yeah but it is what it is. We all knew deep down that this was not a sensible plan.

The 2019 Chicago White Sox won 72 games -- up from 62 wins in 2018.

Which of these teams do you feel has the brighter future?

The Twins seem to have the more MLB-ready roster right now. But Chicago seems to have the better prospects.

Sox have the higher ceiling, because they are stacked with prospects at both position (Robert, Moncada, Eloy, Vaughn, Madigral) and pitching (Giolito, Kopech, Cease) levels. And they have shown they will start to spend a bit to fill gaps (Grandal, Kuechel, Edwin, re sign Abreu, etc)

However, the Twins are not to be slighted, they can just absolutely MASH the ball.
