Baseball messed up. Why are you having players flying all over the country playing in empty stadiums. Could have created a bubble in a city like Chicago where there are two big league stadiums

Plenty of vacant hotels, lots of stadiums in the surrounding area. Traveling all over the country is just asking for a early shutdown. But I think the players didn't sign off on the bubble right? Didn't the MLB propose a bubble in Arizona and the players turned it down?

The 2019 Minnesota Twins won 101 games -- up from 78 wins in 2018.
The 2019 Chicago White Sox won 72 games -- up from 62 wins in 2018.

Which of these teams do you feel has the brighter future?

The Twins seem to have the more MLB-ready roster right now. But Chicago seems to have the better prospects.

You would think The White Sox. But then again you never know with prospects. Once the league has the book on them, it’s up to them to make the proper adjustments.

ha looking like it might be a wrap*

Not a fan of Wayne at all (I think he sucks), but I'm from a different era and different part of the country so...it's whatever. I understand that a lot grew up on him.

But The Block Is Hot is a goddamn classic. I do love this song.

MLB had forever to figure this out and why not take advantage of the cities with 2 stadiums that also have high end hotels they could literally buy out for a couple of months and use that as the “bubble”.

I get that they didn’t want to be in Arizona the entire time but the 2 stadium cities are all in major cities. And it’s not like they would be running around these cities in a bubble situation anyway so it doesn’t matter.

They can play outdoors during the day and mlb has enough money to create a ton of playing fields in a place no one even lives like fkng Montana or something. Just run double headers every day until you’ve played enough games to figure out who is in the playoffs

Kansas City would’ve worked as well, perhaps Colorado, they could’ve gotten an additional assist from the unused nfl and mls stadiums to get more playing fields to run games on.
MLB should’ve done this shyt simulation mode and packed in as many games per day in a singular location as quick as possible if they wanted a season.

you are correct
the blue jays are/were going to play their home games in a minor league stadium

could have easily had bubbles in hick ass states with low covid numbers and play in triple a stadiums
