LSU might have the talent but in 2016-17 I saw a talented team that was held back by an average QB in Etling, I see the same thing in Brennan he’s not even at Etling level yet

Brennan is actual a decent qb. He has all the tools except foot speed, but he was in over his head mentally on Saturday. He played tentative and scared out there. He lost that game cause he wasnt playing to win.

Look at his highlights from last year in mop up duty. He looks way more poised and sharp out there with no pressure.

The film is definitely out there on them. They’ve got plenty of it to use but it’s a difference between watching the film and actually going out there and playing against it. All Leach does is run mesh routes but it’s the way he disguises it is tough

Then you sit out Logan, lose Stingley at the last minute, and are already bringing in 10 new starters on defense and it turns into a shootout against Mike Leach.
As far as the offense I don’t put it on the OC at all, the receivers were open all game and Brennan had more time to throw than any other QB in the SEC, he just wasn’t ready. I get it’s his 1st start but you have waited your turn 4 years, you see the success Burrow had last year, I feel like he should have had more hunger. People bring up Burrow 1st but I remember Burrow getting in them guys faces and Brennan doesn’t have that edge at all he has poor body language if anything.

all i hear is blah blah blah, we looking ripe for the plucking, and you are who you all always been amassing talent and underachieving outside some world class coaching, les fell ass backwards into one because he ain’t did shyt before he got one and shyt since, lsu getting that one in 19 was such a confluence of things, and not the norm, and you all back stuck looking for a decent qb again because this guy ain’t it, he had 4 years to get his mind right and sat behind burrow, fukk his body language, his arm talent and the talent between his ears was lacking
