I dont know what any of this is based on.
1. Oregon's offense was largely held to dink and dunk after the first couple drives
2. Oregon was thoroughly outclassed by an ASU team that was worse than Auburn later in the year
3. Bo did improve just by not being as turnover prone. He had the second longest streak w/o a pick by the end of that season and still does have the second longest active one. TOs helped Oregon get out in front in the first place

1 they weren’t held, Herbert was pure trash in that game, he def hit his stride later in the season
2 asu was good, and obviously you know on any given day you can get a W

its such a confluence of fukk ups, Jimbo became a malcontent and Sabotaged the program, by essentially not really recruiting, and took any and everyone with out vetting them out, willie got there and like so many black coaches, had to change the culture, get there sap up, he had to settle for coaches, because the ones he wanted the puppets and their puppeteers (better known as the the board and the golden chiefs) refused to open up the purse strings, this also blocked him from getting premo talent, so folks on this board took willie to task but he had nothing to build off of, including that turnstile of an offensive line, he started recruiting but was forced to coach and recruit with one hand behind his back, with 21 games under his belt yall clipped him, so while he was still on the books you hire white mike who was supposed to be that deal, welp as of now you all look worse, no top Florida recruits, and it looks like it won’t be better anytime soon, as far as I’m concerned fukk’em you all fukked over willie like all black coaches you let him build you all up, and before he could get rolling you all clipped him so a white man could come get all his credit and build off of his momentum, but jokes on y’all, y’all picked a pretender
