We never offered him mainly because he isn't the #1 safety in Louisiana. Sage Ryan is that's who we're locked in on.

I think Kaine Williams will be good but maybe he doesn’t fit the system Pelini is bringing in, he would have been a good fit in Aranda’s defense. Maybe they just wanted to wait till he camped but the shut down canceled that. He might be a option later on cuz there will be a lot of processing/decommittments/flips in the coming month but even still idk if he’s that high on the board.
