Thing about USC under Helton: when there's no/little pressure or expectations, they're world-beaters. Once the spotlight's on and people think they might be about something, they struggle.
I agree upthread that he won't remotely be in any trouble, though, even if they lose this and whatever other games are left. SC's current administration gives two rips about football. He could literally be there for a decade+ (already locked in through '23).
