Personally thought this article stunk:



1. It wasn't a bad signing. This was nothing about caving to fan and media pressure. If it were about the latter, they'd have improved the roster YoY.
2. The Wilpons and front office knew about Yo's heel issue, but kept kicking the can until it couldn't be ignored anymore.
3. Cespedes shouldn't have been left to his own devices while healing from his surgeries. He should been in NY where he would have had access to the best doctors and trainers.

Hindsight is 20/20 and the revisionist history here stinks.
