:mjcry:

As someone with a family member with dementia, it's terrible. Like watching someone die slowly, bit by bit everyday and they can't stop it.

Rosario crushed that three run shot. A no doubter. If he can show this kind of power in Year 2, he's going to make that leap quickly.

Halfway through spring training notes:

Alonso and Dominic are both raking. I believe when there's a legitimate competition amongst young players, it's for the best for all parties involved(this might have attributed to Amed being mediocre most of 2018 as he knew his job was safe from day 1 in camp). Whether they develop into a platoon, one slumps at the big league level for an extended period of time requiring a demotion, or they can translate their talent to pinch hitting on occasion, I believe both can co-exist on the 25 man roster.

The starting pitchers look reliable, healthy and efficient for the most part. Vargas as a 5 starter will be fine, I don't think he is as washed as he looked most of 2018. Syndergaard has got to improve his command and become a pitcher again. He overthrows a lot leading to long at bats and innings. The league may have caught up to his game, so he needs to adjust because otherwise he'll become a 5 inning pitcher who gives up 4 walks, 3 stolen bases and 4 earned runs a game.

Cano is a HUGE addition. Many people, myself included, were very reluctant at the initial optics of the deal. However his swing is as compact and natural as I can recall from his Yankee glory years. Yes he's in his mid 30's on a lengthy contract, but for year 1 on the Mets I have no qualms about him being the 3rd place hitter every day. I will go as far as to say he'll hit .300 this year. Ramos is an equally important pickup and can possibly hit .300 for us also. Would be amazing if we get 2 of those batters in offseason after so many years without even 1 in a season.

If we keeping it a buck, Seaver should've been had that statue at Citi Field by now :manny:

The idea was brought up a few days ago, once the Seaver news broke and the Mets were all about it. Then today on Mets Twitter, they say they’re ‘considering’ it. Get it fukking done you pieces of shyt. Or is a statue too expensive for you cheap fukks.

I fukkING HATE THIS ORGANIZATION. fukk MAN.

A statue should've been ready when Citi Field open, but again, this is the Mets we talking about :shaq2:

Wait until Vargas starts getting lit up every 5th day that's when its really gonna sink in how much the Mets fukked up by not going after Gio or Keuchel.

I have zero faith in Vargas :manny:

I'm there too.. and I'm almost there with fukkboi Matz too. Those 2 are gonna cost us this season. Just watch.
