Eddie C was on with Francesa today and said Mets are most likely trading Thor and they most likely can't afford to bring Wheeler back. Even with Noah's down season, who are we replacing them with ?

They're going to have to go after Cole to justify not bringing either of them back. The writing is on the wall for Syndergaard. Keith just said he'd look great in the pinstripes of orange and blue.

These cheap b*stards :pacspit:
Noah is 27 and in his prime, you don’t trade that unless you plan on doing a full scale rebuild. :camby:

Man seeing Pete go nuts this year and seeing Rosie finally progress and start looking like a long term solution at shortstop has really been a joy to watch this year. That combined with McNeil and Jake has made this year one of the less painful seasons I’ve witnessed even though were prob gonna come up juuuuust short.

If we fire Callaway in the off-season I’ll be pretty optimistic heading into next year.

I don't think Callaway is the problem. He has a team that likes to play for him. Get the bullpen better arms.

He makes a lot of retarded moves. Just the other day he had Frazier hitting ahead of Conforto against a righty when Frazier shouldn’t have been in the starting line up at all let alone hitting ahead of MC.

I wish I could cite some more specific instances but he’s driven me nuts throughout my he season he’s definitely one of the worst strategic managers in the league and he almost takes pride in it. His reaction to people questioning his dumb moves is comical. I remember before he season he had a condescending response to why it was becoming fashionable to hit your best hitter second in the line up. He was like pretty much like :smugfavre: yeah people are advocating that but it don’t really mean shyt just a few extra ABs over the course of the season. And I’m like EXACTLY motherfukker!!! A few extra ABs for your best hitter. You need to seize every advantage you can get which is evident this year since we’re just barely gonna miss out on the playoffs.
