Washington is starting to cement themselves as a bonafide playoff team and the NL central runner up isn't going away easily. Mets can't be cute and stay satisfied being 3-5 games over .500 throughout this entire "run" they've been on, once the calendar turns to September.

Both the above teams will be at least 10 over by then and that's the bare minimum for the final wild card teams records.

Need to win more series and actually a sweep a few from here on out.
