Mets lost that first game because of the shytty schedule. It's not an excuse but how you play a night game, travel over night and play again the very next day? Bats were dead.

I got reminded of why I was frustrated with Ruben Tejada when he was a Met. This dude will hit a ball dead square on the barrel of the bat and the ball will die 10 feet in front of the warning track. Who else we got?
