And only Jimbo has a chip. If you don't have a powerful defense and a top notch QB than no chips.

No the problem with Jimbo is his play calling. It's very predictable. If he had an OC to focus on solely offense he wouldn't have this problem. When he had that monster D they were able to keep them in the game. Jimbo had alot of three and outs.
Having a traditional OC guarantees nothing. If you've built your career on your offensive playcalling abilities, then play to your strengths.

Not one of the guys I mentioned would perform at a higher level handing over the offense to someone else.

You Florida fans I hope y’all don’t claim
Jawaan Taylor. He’s is the worst staring football player I’ve seen since Jason DAvid was playing for a Saints. He is straight doo doo

Jawaan Taylor has been VERY solid for my Jags this year. He had to go against Von yesterday and yea he had his issues but with the game on the line, Von got wiped out by Jawaan. How often do you watch Jags games :comeon:

Lincoln Riley been doing just fine

I thought he was saying unless you have superior talent

OU is running a scam on the Heisman and offensive stats

their offensive skill position talent is so overwhelming compared to the defenses they face in that conference an above average QB is going to put up crazy numbers by default

along with the fact that OU defense is bad the offense has to out score everyone which they do outside of once or twice a year

Riley is getting a lot credit for 2 Heisman winning QBs when OU always has QBs in the Heisman race

no he isn't :comeon:. He's been solid and given us just about what we expected in the pass pro. It's the run block where the WHOLE line has to get better at. Hell, it was his block that sprung LF for that 80+ yard run yesterday.

yea because there's not a difference from being in the race and actually winning the award :comeon:

That’s fine and all. Every time the Jags getting something goin on offense he’s committing a damn penalty or getting beat off the edge.

In 2018 OU two lowest scoring games came OOC(Army chewing the clock, Bama has the athletes)

The Bakers years- OSU twice, Houston and Texas in 2017 & 2015, Clemson in 2015

Their skill position talents feast on Big12 defenses

Yeah @CrimsonTider Lincoln Riley is just living off ou mystic, he’s not good, all luck and out athlete’n teams :Niccwhat:
What’s the difference between Sam Bradford and Baker or Murray at OU?

Those numbers are not cause Riley is some offensive wizard it’s because OU skill talent dominates Big12 defense outside of Texas?

Landry Jones put up crazy numbers at OU too

@jwonder is more right about Riley than y’all and media are by dikk eating him cause he can score 50 a game in the Big 12 at OU

:francis: Your quoted source, couldn’t tell you his ass from his nose let alone a good coach, look no one is saying he’s all world, but in the same year a tua miracle got you all the chip, he dropped 48 points on a Georgia team with a damn good defense, he doesn’t coach defense, so he can’t help it if his team can’t stop Uga but he kept scoring forcing uga to match score for score in 18 he put up 34 against a good bama d so who’s shutting him out when he “plays a team with a pulse” ??? So what are you saying you want him to play/coach defense?? Lack of defensive stops doesn’t negate his offensive prowess, i guess them points he scored in them games was because he out athleted uga and bama :mjlol:

He’s the HC so he gets just as much blame for the defense as he gets praise for the offense

They only scored 14 points in the second half of the game against UGA. Kirby made adjustments at halftime and it was a wrap:yeshrug:

OU put up 14 points in Garbage time against us in the 4th Quarter. We had a chip to go and play for
:yeshrug:

But your point was offense not defense, so stop moving the goal post, i also like how you skirted around the fact that he still scored points, when faced with a team with a pulse, and he turned around and dropped 14 in the 4th so he made adjustments to Kirby’s and the game ended up having to go to overtime, never mind the fact that that Georgia team was loaded with all Americans at every level on defense.

As for the Alabama game he scored a td a quarter and a fg in the 2nd and 3rd quarter, and 14 in the 4th, but I’m sure you will say something along the lines of, the ball bounced off the turf and he had Kadeem Hardison come back as the 6th man to push the ball to the wr on the throw
