The past few years it’s gotten worse the distance between the top few teams in the country and everyone else

I guess the one positive is unlike the past few years at least you have a few teams that I think can clearly compete with Bama and Clemson if they make the playoffs. (OSU LSU Georgia)

I’m not putting OU in there. That defense is gonna give up 50 in the playoffs

LSU's defense has been a weak spot. Auburn has a better defense than them.

So far the season has been lackluster. Hope things pick up in the coming weeks:francis:
It was like this last season As well

I think the lack of ranked vs ranked games is a big problem(we have multiple next week, finally). The Slate of games just lack anticipation week in and week out

The Pac12 once again has the most competitive games this week but CFB will never promote that conference unless USC is good

Everywhere...You never there.

The mid tier has gotten fat with a lot of mid majors competing with P5s. But yeah , that top tier is as exclusive as it has even been.

Southern Cal and/or Stanford, Oregon ... or if it’s not those three, a generational talent needs to come through on an alternate team that has a huge OOC win and remain competitive throughout the year .
