Scott Frost was on those teams. He knows what it takes to be there. He was hired to get us there by the AD Bill Moos, with directions from the Board of Regents to give him whatever he needs to get us back there. Be patient, and remember the expectations are long term.
We played a team tonight that’s been on top for a long time and has had the recruiting and development to prove it. We’re pointed in the right direction, as much as it doesn’t look like it now. The support is there, it always will be as long as we don’t lose sight of the long term. I'm not turning my back on the staff, they need my support more than ever.

I don't know where this Gus Malzahn has been since Nick Marshall graduated, but he shouldn't have ever given up calling plays....but it was probably for the best that he got a chance to step back and evaluate the game without the stress of playcalling.
