i thought champ babied him too much last year and that cant happen this year. that said he has taken care of the ball in camp and from all accounts has looked better, but i felt he turned a corner last year and he fell off a cliff the last 6 quarters of the season. what gives me hope is maybe that failure at the end of the season humbled him, he's a senior and its now his 2nd year in this offense and while you lose deebo, theres more depth at the wr position and an improved rb core with feaster should bring the best out of him.

though he didnt win the backup job, champ mentioned that joyner will play saturday.

I'm interested in seeing how we play Joyner. I don't expect to see him in a wildcat package. Yes, JB has been babied since he arrived on campus. I'm expecting big seasons from Josh Vann and Ran Davis. Also, that boy Jay Ulric can fly and has been catching the ball really well.
