shyt just last week people were clowning FSU for getting an non ranked TE. Soon as FSU offered them. He magically got three stars.
If you go by rankings or stars you're an idiot plain and simple. Honestly I go by regions. The South is where to get the best football talent period end of story. I'm talking about quality not quantity. Other regions produce. But not on the level of the south. Once again. FSU has gotten countless unheard of players from small parts of GA. Also the DMV area has been good to FSU also.

That’s the thing though. This kid is at Killian where all the schools in the ACC and SEC go to recruit, and his only other offer was FIU. Most schools declined to take a flyer on the kid.

You're a fat idiot. Who cares how many offers a kid gets if he fits your scheme, especially if he only played one year of football. There have been numerous kids throughout history who haven't started playing football until high school and have had productive college careers. You're also recruiting for depth.
But who are we kidding? You don't know shyt about football. Probably couldn't get picked up for a flag football game growing up.

That's a good thing. They don't know how to coach anybody. They've had like a million different HC's right now. Still haven't won an ACC chip. It's not like it hasn't been almost 20 years or anything.

shyt's embarrassing, I understand having rose colored glasses for your team but he's the new/ old swagnificent.
He's never played football prior to last year. Former basketball player. Watch his video. 6'7", 300lbs, former bball player with nimble feet, and a year under his belt. We had this same convo last year when this staff found a gem in Charles Cross. By the end of the cycle he morphed into a 5 star and stayed home. I'm not saying this kid will, but I'm willing to bet his senior film will be so much better that the FIU offer wont even make sense. Dude just dont want to give the staff their proper due so he shades every move with a negative spin.

When your OL sucks the way FSU has you need an infusion of talent. These unknown prospects are going to be thrown in the fire too early, and could set the program back further.

We already know your a closet FSU fan. Just stop. You recruit for depth and for hidden gems along with the obvious stars. I'll take Clements take on him over yours any day. If he can coach him up it's a win win.
