This is why, while I do like following recruiting etc, I don't take player rankings serious. Example #1:

On Friday, 247Sports provided a rankings update after seeing several prospects in person. That included a Georgia commitment moving up in the rankings. Defensive lineman Jalen Carter (Apopka, Fla./Apopka) jumped 74 spots from No. 93 overall to No. 19 overall in the country. The 6-foot-3.2, 311-pound prospect is now the nation's No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 1 overall recruit in Florida according to 247Sports.

247Sports recruiting analyst Luke Stampini saw Carter play in his spring game, and after providing feedback, the rankings bump was made.

I get BAMA has been dominate but its crazy to think UF ain’t won an SEC title in over a decade. Thats nuts, Shid Auburn got like 2 or 3 since then.

It’s hard to do that, and it’s in cycles, it’s some nikkas in this thread that think their school wins based on the name on the uniform it’s coaching and things coming together, if Pete carrol never shows up in Compton uSC would still be waiting for a resurgence

Wouldn’t say that, We just had one great season that ended with a Rose Bowl W and followed up that season with a Pac 12 title the next season.

Once Urban and Tebow left. It went down hill from there. I mean if Urban and Cam were there shyt would have been just unfair.

But Miami is the worst. It's been 15 years and they never won the ACC conference championship. Which is pathetic because the ACC Coastal is one of the worst besides the PAC 12 South. So there is no excuse why they couldn't at least go more times to the ACC chip game.

Now that Money Mack is there, I think Carolina will take over that division. Or the fact that the GT got a new coach. They could possibly take over. Not sure how good the coach is, but if he is able to get those kids to stay home in GA, it's going to be a problem.
