Syracuse would have won that game if they would have tried any type of ball control offense. I know Barbers has his style, but at the end they were still running that crappy quick attack offense. They were just giving Clemson too many chances to come back, and not giving their defense a chance to catch their breath. Clemson had zero confidence in that backup throwing the ball and came back playing power football.

Clemson had 6 or 7 sacks that game. Ball control was not an option for them after the opening drive. It was Dungy making some amazing plays that game and Strickland running well. They had a long drive to open and Clemson came right back in 3 plays and scored. They punted the next posession and Ray Ray fumbling on the 19yd line killed the timing of the drive and the missed FG game Cuse momentum and hope. Cuse can't beat Clemson with Ball Control and had to use speed to cause mismatch.

And i agree...Cooper should have never been in after the 2nd series because he was afraid to even try a deep ball...and was clearly rattled by the moment. We saw Hunter Johnson come in and zip passes like Chase Brice did this past year but they road with Cooper. Clemson's game is to always try to run...Feaster had a big run early in that game....Etienne late in the game.

Hard to be somebody's bytch when we own the series by 10 games and whopped them worse in said series twice than they beat us last season. We do know that if USC played Clemson every year the series record would be 58020163 to 0

Still own the series till they catch up. We beat Miami 7 straight and UF 5 straight. I think we are doing well the last 10 years in our state.

I mean no comp in your state. Cal and UCLA are even more trash than USC but you'll struggle with them.
