That's rich coming from a USC fan. But that shyt wasn't impressive dropping that on a wounded team. Clemson fans themselves said that 51-14 at home beat down we gave them when they were ranked #3 was way more legit.

Glad everybody writing FSU off this year. I'll have receipts on how stupid they are going to look at the end of the season. :mjlit:
Didn't a D3 team pass for like 500 yards on yall? :mjlol:

With all Clemson is doing, FSU still beating them this year. I've seen the trouble they've had with Syracuse these last couple of years. Dino first year they got blanked 54-0. Followed that up with a win in '17 and should have won last year too. If the former WR/ST coach can run this system well enough to handle Clemson, with a lot less talent, I have the utmost faith in Briles being able to come in and handle Clemson's defense as well.
Remember when you ran a campaign for a whole week that FSU was beating Miami last season

and they didnt

We won our conference a year ago...

Yall been Clemson bytch for how long? :patrice:

You should win your weak ass conference every year. :dahell:

Hard to be somebody's bytch when we own the series by 10 games and whopped them worse in said series twice than they beat us last season. :francis: We do know that if USC played Clemson every year the series record would be 58020163 to 0

WTH?

You do know that the last couple years both of our QB's got injured right? You also know it was weird circumstances for both games.

2017 Bryant gets hurt and Cooper refused to throw the ball down the field and Syracuse knew it so they literally just all out blitz causing him to make poor reads. Hunter Johnson should have played that game and it would not have been close. Do I have to remind you that it was a Friday game on the road on, fumbling twice at key moments and missing 2 FGs is what cost us from escaping that game with a win. So as "well" as Cuse played...it took all of that just to win by 3.

2018 Trevor Lawrence gets hurt and it was clear that the team was still in a WTF distracted mindset with Kelly Bryant quitting the team but still on campus. Trev wasn't playing well but most of it was nerves because of having to suddenly start without knowing and i think had he not got concussed he would have dialed in.

The biggest thing was 2017 Cuse was able to run the ball on use for some reason and Dungy was zoned out but it was a lot of empty yards. Last year they couldn't run the ball on us at all but got some lucky plays to extend drives but still couldn't do anything and stalled out drive after drive.

But go ahead and cook though like suddenly Clemson will forget how to play defense. See y'all Oct. 12th.

Yeah now that they’re starting to recruit like Bama it’s scary

Will be interesting to see if they’ve reached the Bama level of depth yet where no matter how many guys they lose they replace them with ease with as good or better players.

That will be tested with how many cats they lost off that d-line this year

The talent is still there on the D-Line...it's just the leadership that will suffer. When stuff went bad...Christian, Clelin and Austin Bryant took control and were vocal...hell on both sides of the ball.

Remember Clemson had a bunch of games where they literally played nearly everyone that dressed out and that was games that was pretty damn close also.

To me...that's the key...

example....remember the Syracuse game...Xavier Thomas late 4th qtr sack to close it out

It helps tho. Low risk for injury when your starters don’t have to play after halftime because of blowouts

Breh Clemson has had more player injured in blowouts than in game vs tougher opponents. The exception being Syracuse the last two years. Actually one of the complains that some people had was that Dabo was putting in 2nd and 3rd strings too damn early in games that were close. He's done it for years but he ramped it up over the past few years because he said it keeps them all focused on the game because they can play at any time. He did that mostly as a way to grow a lot of younger player up quicker because he actually didn't expect anyone other than Dexter Lawrence to come back last year.

Syracuse would have won that game if they would have tried any type of ball control offense. I know Barbers has his style, but at the end they were still running that crappy quick attack offense. They were just giving Clemson too many chances to come back, and not giving their defense a chance to catch their breath. Clemson had zero confidence in that backup throwing the ball and came back playing power football.
