I can’t be mad at Clemson, they actually got a clue and got on Alabama’s level, something that every program has been trying to for the last 10 years.

It’s really Alabama/Clemson, then Ohio State/Oklahoma in the next tier.

nikkas only use close when it suits their point, i take the uga loss with a grain of salt, i think they got up for the game and uga didn’t, uga still lost but I’m pretty sure if it was a playoff game or regular season uga would have dug in they ass, and let us not forget Maryland owns Texas and they won at Austin too

Bruh...how many times have we been over this. This has been Dabo's stance since he got the job. He is very big on "commitment" so he tell them to make sure Clemson is right for them b4 doing so. We've lost out on a shyt ton of players bc of this. His view is that if we are taking 1 fukking RB and we offer you and you take it...then we stop recruiting other RBs and tell them we are done recruiting that position.

And about the offers....it's by design. Dabo feels that getting a Clemson offer should mean something so they never flood the market with a bunch of offers to kids that they know they have no chance getting.

Which game turned it around for Clemson?

- Peach Bowl vs LSU
- Orange Bowl vs Ohio State
- 2015 vs ND
- 2015 vs FSU

The Peach bowl was the game that restored faith to a split fan base. Still timid from the WVU collapse this put worries to the side but it was still A LOT of anti Dabo going on but that game have Dabo something to sell players and recruits. They rode the momentum until Tajh choked and FSU Drug us to the river.

Two games that actually were the precursor was the 2014 game vs South Carolina. Once Deshaun beat them with one good leg...breaking a losing streak to them was HUGE. Then when Cole Stoudt started the bowl game vs OK and carvered them it started to build a feeling around the program that they could play with anyone.

The ND game was the biggest one though bc the team said it was after that game that they all started to Believe they belonged and could beat anyone.

LSU game to me because it was the first time they showed they could beat an elite team.

Before that they were not just losing but seemingly getting killed by top teams.

I remember them giving up like 100 points to West Virginia in a bowl game

I've said b4 that the WVU game is probably the actual most important piece to the turn around bc it got us Coach BV.

Honestly more coaches should go by this approach too. I know Clemson, Bama, UGA have the cache to do it right now because they all have the juice but, if you really have a greating recruiting and scouting staff who's able to identify high school talent that FITS YOUR SYSTEM, you can really zone in on him and put more time and effort into that player as oppose to zig zagging around the country entertaining mulitple players who a lot of time, like you said, you really have NO shot at.
