This past weekend, the 2019 USA Powerlifting High School National Championships were held in Alexandria, bringing in high school powerlifters from around the country to compete against some of Louisiana's best. And Guillory answered the call.

The ASH boy's team captured a national championship over the four-day competition, paced by Guillory, who squatted a meet-best 740 pounds. He missed on his second attempt at 780 pounds, but upped his result from last year of 700 pounds. He's also put together some impressive marks in addition to 700 pounds in the power lift last season, setting a 370-pound bench mark and 625 pound deadlift, both of which are likely to improve with his showings in 2019. Guillory, now a two-time national championship powerlifting winner, is also a multi-time state champion in the super heavyweight division for powerlifting. He's now been a part of three national team titles at ASH.

You forgot to mention UCF was on a 25 game win streak and we were down 9 starters on defense and Burrow still led them to victory, where was that magic from Bo today?

Look at UCF's schedule in 2018 and tell me who was the best team they played. The opposing QB he played has more rushing attempts than passes this season. You gonna continue to compare a gimmick group of 5 team to Minnesota or are we gonna drop this facade

If he can legit qualify then he definitely should be done with football. Doesn’t matter if we were undefeated he should still leave if he qualifies. He said he was at 80% today too. Football is breaking his body down. He might have to retire the football cleats

I don't blame him for doing so, in fact Id still say he should quit just bc the way Gus uses him. Tons of open field hits with no blockers due to those those poorly timed swing out passes (one of the very few ways we even use the guy). It'll be sad to see him go but for a guy who had football as a side sport, he ate more punishment than most would've.
