Dak has it tougher than your average QB, due to having melanin and being the Most prized American sports position , on “America’s Team “
I was High on him before the draft, thought him and Cardale (
) had a chance to be starting NFL QBs. That offensive line and a generational talent like Zeke coupled with a pretty good defense in his rookie year was the perfect situation for any rookie QB. I saw shades of Alex Smith and made Russ Wilson Esque plays in crunch time.
He definitely had a sophomore slump . But the Zeke issues and losing 3/4th of their secondary was never brought up on hot take shows. He kinda was the scapegoat and though he struggled I found it insane with talks of replacing him after he won rookie of the year a year ago (though Zeke really should have).
I don’t see him being a top 3-5 guy in the league, but I think Dak can be their long term QB. Highly doubt Garrett is the guy who will end their SB drought, but crazier things have happened before.
