Glad to see I'm not the only person with this opinion. You would think that scouts and GMs would have learned their lesson by now with all the drdra history to look back on.

my potential bust/overdrafted list: zhaire smith, troy brown, anfernee simons, jontay porter, miles bridges, hamidou diallo (if some GM is dumb enough to take him in the first), and lowkey collin sexton and lonnie walker. I also hate to say it as a duke fan, but gary trent as well. trae young, MPJ, and knox also scare me but less so. Lot of underrated juniors/seniors in the 18-40 range.

It still kind of depends on what the team's gameplan and how fast they plan to win. There IS a difference between a player being 26 to 28 when they become a UFA as opposed to 29 to 31.

As far as physical skill development then you have a point but from a contractual standpoint drafting an older guy creates tougher decisions down the road.
The whole age factor with upperclassmen is something I definitely understand. Don't agree with it but I understand the reasoning behind it.

Honestly I wouldn't take MPJ with a top 15 pick. Without injury I'd probably take him in the lottery but with that shyt nah I'ma pass.
He looks like a bench player to me. Nothing I have seen from him has been impressive.

Said this in the Random Observations thread. If the Kings draft Michael Porter Jr, I hope that they just do what they did this past season and just let him focus on rehab and basketball. Shut him down for the year from the jump. Not like the Kings are going to be good. Giles will be playing next season and then they can do the same with MPJ the following season. In a way, it makes up for not having a 2019 1st round pick.

This will most likely be Dirk's last yr, first time they've had a possible pick this high since I can remember. We need to hit on this pick and leave this tanking for the birds.

Need to draft a high level contributor with our second rd pick too

It makes a lot of sense.Ayton has Arizona ties.

Unfortunately, I just have a feeling they're going to give us the #3 pick.

They've been fukking us out of a top 3 pick the last 5 yrs.

Think this is the year they finally throw us a bone.It just won't be the ultimate bone(#1 overall)

:snoop: you're willingly ignorant

Every team has a representative that witnesses the actual lottery drawing.

They are then sequestered until the results are shown on tv

after the lottery results are broadcast the drawing is shown on nba.com. whoever gets the 1st 3 slots it's luck /odds period

Y'all need to stop with the rigged "they" bullshyt. This is known, smarten up fam
