Not comparable at all. Porter doesn't really have the ball skills like that. At least based on his HS tape. He's a shoot over the top of everyone because he can't really get to where he wants to kind of guy.
I was saying KBD game was comparable to Tatum

Outside of my top 5 prospects, this class is strongly dependent on where said player lands

Don't know if I'll have time this year to go as in depth.

Still feel the same about Mikal and Robert Williams as last year.

Other names I like, Tony Carr, Shamet, De'Anthony Melton and Aaron Holiday.
What do y'all think of Wendell Carter Jr? He's one of my favorite players in this draft.

deep draft..a lot of underacheiving, overrated underclassmen are being mocked so high it's ridiculous. i don't understand these scouts and GMs obsession w/ "potential" as if juniors and seniors can't improve. They are also more likely to contribute to a team's success immediately. Last I checked MJ was in college for 3 years, shaq the same, tim duncan 4 years, and i can go on and on. There will be alot of busts in the top 20 in this draft IMO.
Glad to see I'm not the only person with this opinion. You would think that scouts and GMs would have learned their lesson by now with all the draft history to look back on.

It still kind of depends on what the team's gameplan and how fast they plan to win. There IS a difference between a player being 26 to 28 when they become a UFA as opposed to 29 to 31.

As far as physical skill development then you have a point but from a contractual standpoint drafting an older guy creates tougher decisions down the road.

Honestly I wouldn't take MPJ with a top 15 pick. Without injury I'd probably take him in the lottery but with that shyt nah I'ma pass.
