He has long history of inflating Euro prospects value...

Tbf just about everyone who does this for a living loves Luka.

Doesn’t mean he’s gonna be a superstar but neither does random fans who haven’t seen him but think he’s gonna be a bust becaus he’s euro and not a freak athlete

I cant see the Knicks taking on the Parsons contract AND parting with Frank just to move up to #4

unless they think Frank is trash?

Frank had one of the least memorable and notable rookie seasons ive seen from a top 10 pick that got minutes. Hes shown us nothing. Wouldnt be surprised if they threw him in the bushes especially considering the difference between #9 and #4 is Collin Sexton and Mo Bamba

Exactly I can legit see him helping some teams out...I wonder if the nets are thinking about just buying him out and developing Allen and the young talents they have since they finally control their own draft picks finally....Howard would probably catch some decent interest if he’s bought out and can pick and chose where to sign.

It would be in their best interest or maybe they don’t want to play Allen over 30 minutes just yet. So they keep Howard until the deadline.

Going give my thoughts on 2 players I have given a lot thought about.
Marvin Bagley
Freakish quickness,bounce,second jump.
Unstoppable on Oglass with some inkling of transition push potential
Awareness on cutting and space is great. Needs to improve his face footwork position to take advantage of quickness.
Jumpshot I like due to how he uses his feet for a big. Defensively needs a lot of work in terms offball and where to go but if told to focus on one man in a switch setting very good.
Bosh/with Dominant OREB

Luka Doncic
I've been following him last 3 years and his improvement year to year is something that makes me think he's something different. His ability to sense space and pass to the corners is legit top level. He is PnR maestro who also likes to push the ball in transition. Crazy touch on floaters. Has a stepthrough move and half spin hesitation. Can abuse Guards in the post and attack closeouts. Beast on the glass his effort against Gasol/Hernangomez on the boards was what gave him a checkmark in this area. Isn't a player who scared of shooting tough shots, shot the most end of clock shots of any prospect. He's much more athletic in space than short area. He should be used in very high semi transition PnR. Really good footwork off screen off ball. Good awareness in passing lanes and shooters but needs to get in elite shape to reach his potential as a defender. I was very weary of him last year due to history of melting down but his calmness at end game situations and massive improvement in terms of attacking this year make me quell these concerns. His production is strikingly similar to Manu Ginobli but doesn't have the quick twitch has to dominate with craft and guile Ala Billups. American players on Real Madrid love him so don't see major culture shock concerns.
Unique player

I went to bat for Porzingis in 2015 when people were calling a skinny eurobust.
There is no generational superstar in this draft wouldn't be surprised if no player here is a top 10 player for multiple seasons except if Bamba pops.
Everyone is a 2nd or 3rd option.

My Pops Forever RIP
who do the knicks want?
Scotto just talked to Mike Francesa and said he didn’t know for sure but that they did like Bamba a lot. He did kinda backtrack and say it was speculative and that the Knicks would be ecstatic if Carter or Porter fell.

Porter redshirting with the Knicks kinda makes sense even though you’d have no reason to watch the Knicks next year
