If he's available at four and Memphis really just wants to dump Parsons, Chicago should do that in a heartbeat. Low key, I'd do that with the Lakers too. He was MVP of the second best league in the world at 19. Most Euros are picked on potential and with limited playing time. This kid actually played and performed.

Really, he should be the first pick, especially with how the league is going small. Most centers got run off the floor in the playoffs and Ayton is trash defensively right now. Doncic, Booker, Jackson and even Warren would be a really nice set of wings. They'd just need rim runners/protectors to flesh out the roster.
Facts. Ayton and bagley won’t be able to stay on the floor against good teams. JJJ should be at least Tristan Thompson level switchable. Bamba can afford to sag off a step because of his length, so he should be passable.

Perimeter players dominate the league right now. Won’t surprise me at all if Trae, Luka and MPJ have the most successful careers of this class.

Gobert wingspan is only 2inches shorter and still got ran off the court against the Rockets. Not sure Bamba will be much different.

True. It’s about potential with Bamba. We don’t know if he’ll develop quicker feet or better perimeter technique than Gobert has. He also had the potential to be a 3 point threat, which would give him more value on offense than Gobert has. But I could see him having a hard time against those types of teams too.

I see the videos of him shooting but until I see that in a game I'm calling fools gold on them 3's. If you ever get a chance to play with pros and or get to a game early you'll see them making all the wide open shots but in the games most times its obviously not like that. Open gym no d shooting from pros and elite level players don't impress me I've saw cats kill it all the time in that setting.

Won't surprise me if 2/3 are straight busts

So Woj says that the Mavs are thinking they might need to move up to draft Doncic and the next day word comes out that Doncic is #1 on Atlanta's board

I like Doncic :yeshrug: I know many on this board dont though

I dont know whether I would trade up for him though. It all depends on the cost

I'm with you on the fact that he's probably #1 on their board but at this point I'm mentally committed to MPJ I'm in too deep. :francis:

I doubt they make a promise to Hutchison and then trade up for Doncic out of nowhere.

How many teams are good enough to force this to happen

Ironically None of these guys play defense either ... why will they be able to stay on the court against good teams?
