That Trae, Fultz, Ben, Saric and Embiid lineup :whoo:

The power of having Fultz/Simmons is that you can plug virtually any guard in the league into that slot. Trae Young, Sexton, Khyri Thomas, Shamet, Melton are all some names that would work. Lots of flexibility.

That's why it won't hurt as much, and might be better overall, if they go with someone like Mikal at 10 (or whoever falls) there is plenty of guard depth. But looking at what will probably be on the board they should just go Sexton.

Sexton sucks...no thanks. Tiny point guard who with a inconsistent jumper, no vision, and horrific defense? This is a top 10 selection in 2018? but but but he slaps the floor and looks mean out there :mjlol:

His team almost won a 3 v 5 vs future walmart store clerks :gladbron::whoo:

If you take Sexton you're betting on Fultz's jumper to return to full form and to probably improve past that.

I mean, the pre draft hype has Trae going as high as 3 but dude disappeared for the entire second half of the season. :mjlol:

Who cares

Lakers already got blessed with 3 straight 2nd overall picks :shaq:

And we have endured enough punishment after kobe retired :wow:

The league is different, the stanbases are different, the most hated empire has been at its weakest, historically,

The new gen has been allowed to kick us since we’ve been down while the Clips, Thunder, Heat were born, then the warriors came along and Lebron vs Warriors happened 4 times in a row.

Now they have the chance to unite two of the highest profile brands in the NBA of all time.

If I’m Philly I take a PG, but later, as a Fultz handcuff.

If you take one at 10, even though they’re set almost everywhere, it’s gonna lead to having to choose one over the other (gotta be consistent)

If Atlanta didn’t have Schrôder, Young would make sense for the same reason he’d make sense in Orlando. He’s a name.

If they took Young with nothing in place to move Schröder, they’re in deep shyt

Just from the info I got, Young is a trade back possibility but it's unlikely we are trading back. It's seeming more and more that it's down to Bagley and Doncic. With Bamba as a trade up #4 candidate. Our GM was high on all of the guys this morning on the radio but coaches and executives wants Doncic or Bagley. Coaches love Bamba as well but not over these two.

We just had a dinner with Doncic with Peterson, Pierce and Senlenk. They were extremely impressed. JJJ workout and dinner just didn't do it all for Atlanta but they do feel potential is there and if he starts following outside of a certain range, he could be targeted as a trade-up candidate. Atlanta medical staff said he still can grow a few more inches.

As I said during a radio spot with 92.3 The Fan, I suspect the Cavs will use their No. 8 selection and hold on to the player … at least until learning what James decides. That said, a lot of teams are very interested in trading up to that eighth spot. Or at least interested in trading for whoever the Cavs select.

10. Interestingly, the Brooklyn Nets are said to be the biggest suitor. Interesting because the Cavs’ eighth overall pick originally belonged to the Nets (and came to Cleveland via the Kyrie Irving trade with the Boston Celtics). The Cavs are listening to all offers for the pick and will continue to do so well after they select a player.

I highly doubt this happens but if Sean Marks can pull that off without giving up dlo, levert or allen :banderas:

I’m pretty confident the Magic are taking Bamba at 6 if he’s on the board. Based on his history in Milwaukee, Hammond loves length (:dame:). He drafted Giannis, Larry Sanders & Maker, traded for Middleton & MCW. For a while I had Young penciled in there, but when I think about it he’s physically the antithesis of what the GM likes :yeshrug:
