My issues with Doncic are exactly what worried me about Russell and what is limiting his impact. His lack of athleticism has meant he rarely is creating easy looks for himself which leaves him as being inconsistent as hell from game to game. Russell's playmaking has suffered as well since defenses can sufficiently cover him with just one person which leaves less openings for his playmaking. A bigger D'Angelo Russell is his best NBA comp to me with better court vision.

I will say he could carve out a Manu type career as a secondary ball handler. I just personally would worry about him being a primary ball handler where the issues I've mentioned can be attacked more. However if you have a primary ballhandler that can create openings and get it to Doncic to take advantage of a scrambling defense he could be reach all-star level.
The bolded is why Phoenix would be the the best spot for him. Lord knows DLO would have benefited greatly from Lonzo & Vice versa.

Magic better hope we get a star in FA

i dont think he slips past the Magic ... also sounds like the Hawks are highly interested, but prob wont take him at 3

Never thought of Young on philly:ehh:

Obviously would mean they've given up on Fultz. Would be great to have & plug in once JJ is gone... Wouldn't be too woried about his size due to Ben.

Everybody saying draft Bridges but he basically is Covington
