Is he better than duke riley?:lupe:
Duke is more versatile and has more play making ability but Beckwith has more instinct and is more of a sure tackler. I trust Beckwith more if it wasn't for the injury he'd be a 2nd rounder atleast and he's been doin it longer.

But seeing how Deion played his rookie year I see the excitement for Duke

How do you feel about Lewis Neal breh? Cowboys signed him as an UDFA
Last year, Neal was our best pass rusher. He led the team in sacks and could have went in the top 3 rounds. This year we changed to a 3-4 based defense and his numbers went down. Honestly, he might be serviceable but l then again I never really saw NFL player with him. Still he's worth the risk for y'all since hes an UDFA

@Brozay It's going to be another long season. :sadbron:
Report: Mike Glennon feels “cheated on” after Mitchell Trubisky pick

Bears quarterback Mike Glennon was at a team draft party at Soldier Field last Thursday night and the event probably stopped feeling like a festive occasion for him when the draft progressed to the second pick.

That’s when the Bears traded up with the 49ers and took Mitchell Trubisky to add a name to the quarterback depth chart that wouldn’t be there if the team thought Glennon was going to lock down the starting job for years to come. Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports that the team’s choice left Glennon feeling like he was “cheated on” less than two months after signing with the Bears.

Can you be cheated on in an open marriage, though? Glennon signed a deal with the Bears that guarantees him $2.5 million next year and the size of that guarantee makes it clear that the Bears weren’t locking themselves into anything beyond the 2017 season with Glennon. He may not have wanted the Bears to take a quarterback early and may not have expected it, but it shouldn’t have blindsided him given the structure of the deal.

Glennon’s future with the Bears may be cloudy with Trubisky in the picture, but the equation for him is the same. If he plays well in 2017, he will be starting and making good money somewhere in 2018. That place may not be Chicago, but being the one who got away is preferable to feeling like the quarterback scorned.

this Glennon dude is getting 15 M and the chance to start

I dunno what else he can ask for

I mean, Im sure they sold him as the QB of the future, but in reality they gave him a 1 year prove it deal

If he balls out he can sign elsewhere, or we can pick up his 2nd/3rd year options and trade him for a 1st rounder :win: :takedat:

If he plays like ass, we can cut bait and then give Mitch the reins in year 2. Win win for the Bears :ehh:

Gotta love that Privlege though. Dude think he shouldn't have to go out and work hard for his position.

Thats because he's good. The majority of the hate on here comes from people who haven't watched him take one snap.

The trade up was probably unnecessary, but Trubisky is talented and should have a long successful career.

He has talent but its raw talent, is 12-13 starts in college really enough? His Stanford tape shows good and bad things, it's not like Stanford has a good defense though

Alot of his issues can be fixed with reps and proper coaching hopefully. He needs to be more consistent with his footwork. His intermediate accuracy is very nice. He goes thru progressions. His deep ball is nice when he properly sets his feet. Has good mobility, moves in pocket well. Quick release.

Would have been nice if we just got him straight up at 3, but if he turns out to be nice, losing a 3rd for him isnt bad at all. Most teams are selling 1sts & 2nds.
