43 and 9 and only losing 1 big game throughout the year is pretty great tbh wit you breh.

The numbers is for sure good on paper, although you gotta say they were inflated with big games against D-2 defenses like Oregon and Cal... most people are only gonna remember how average he looked against USC and Alabama tho.

I just don't see franchise QB skils when I watch him

That is a poor way to evaluate it. The Heisman is irrelevant because it's completely based on stats, so anyone in the right system can win it. That has no bearing on how Watson will do in the NFL, so you should instead evaluate how he moves, talks and plays on tape and in workouts rather than worrying about what awards he won.

And honestly the way he looked in workouts, the way he talked on Gruden's QB camp, and plays on tape don't impress me that much either. He's slight of build in weird way. Very narrow shoulders. Arm strength is very questionable. Obviously the accuracy is also questionable. Good athleticism but not the best athlete. Not very good presence when he runs which leads to some brutal hits downfield. Has a previous ACL tear which is always scary. And he's also not a very vocal leader. Reminds me of Mariota with his reserved nature. Also his appearance on Gruden's QB camp was unimpressive compared to some of the other guys.

I hope I'm wrong cause I actually like the kid as a person and I want every black QB to succeed. But I see RG3/Vince Young type career in him. Which means I expect the start to be really good. He could win ROY next year and lead his team to the playoffs. But I don't see long term NFL success.

Not surprising to me at all. I have literally never met a black person who was from Cedar Grove.

yeah he's have to take a big leap to be a legit nfl prospect this year

especially with how he wilted in the Alabama game

Browning is too physically limited. I promise you he won't be a highly rated prospect. He's shorter than 6'2" and his arm strength is very weak. Will be lucky to get drafted in the top 2 rounds.

This guy is the classic college QB who gets hype early from college football observers and then when the NFL evaluators come in his hype dies.

I’m told both the Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets have quarterback Davis Webb in their sights and each team is trying to move up to secure his services. It’s a good possibility any of the teams selecting from picks 33 to 37 would be amicable to trading down for the right compensation.
