People do realize lonzo can't get by anybody right?

I don't think it will be a huge problem as long as you play fast while he's on the court. It's not something you're drafting him to do anyways.

You have the option of forcing slower 3s and bigs to switch onto him as well. And the Lakers have Russell to help him out in the half court, same with Ben in Philly.

Not if you think he is some superstar shot-creating wing. His handle isn't that creative and shooting isn't that versatile. I have him 3rd on my big board, though.

Ball just fits like a glove no matter what system/roster you put him on.....probably won't be a star but :yeshrug:
I like Lonzo too but I feel like other than the first point you could say the same about Zo. His handle isn't that creative either and his jumper isn't versatile :yeshrug:. I'm not made either way cause Lonzo and Josh were both my favorite prospects coming into the ncaab year but I think josh has more upside and a higher floor.

Can't draft a point guard that can't break down the defense. I've seen dude stuffed on the perimeter by 7ft white college athletes. If he's an ancillary piece he's a nice player to have but a center piece nah I'm not seeing it. It wouldn't be that much of an issue if he could shoot if from any where on the court but there are so many qualifiers for his jumper.

Lonzo definitely a more versatile shooter than JJ and I'd say he has a higher floor. Lonzo's floor is probably Brent Barry w/ better vision and rebounding while JJ could be a MKG/Gerald Wallace. They both have about equal odds of suddenly becoming creative ballhandlers and their potentials would shoot the roof if it happened for either of them.

Arguably, Fultz is the only centerpiece in this draft. The "ancillary piece" argument can be used for every other prospect.

I just feel like Lonzo's complete lack of a midrange J makes his jumper less versatile. Plus his shooting motion limits his off the dribble jumper to primarily one side. He's a better shooter than Josh overall without question but I think josh will give you more varying types of jumpers especially as his shot progresses due to his willingness to shoot in the midrange.

But I see what you're saying about the floors. If josh's shoot ends up completely broken (my biggest fear cause I put a lot of weight on ft percentage) he could be really terrible offensively. But he'll give you plus defense regardless.

Lonzo can't get by anybody with dribble in half court and can't create

His game is fast break chucking 3s and passing along the perimeter

He is more than capable of creating in the half court. Have you seen how well he runs the PnR? His vision doesn't just go away when he's not in transition lol.

Thought pnr offense was one of Lonzo's biggest issues
