Thats short changing him. There are only a few guards with his potential on-ball as a defender especially since he could theoretically guard 3 positions. Can already shoot the 3 ball well and more creativity with his handle to get to a pullup than most would lend you to believe.
you want to give him the keys as a franchise pg though?

i don't dislike him, but frank in the top 10 always seemed like the generally accepted smokescreen/misdirection pick of all the mock drafts so far. dude is a reach and should be lucky to go in the lottery imo. only reason a team like charlotte would want him is because we basically played the season without a backup pg at all. detroit ain't gonna want him. anyone higher isn't looking at him at all, those teams are looking to trade up for a real top tier pg prospect...

I agree he isn't a starter but his defense/shooting will get him reserve minutes. I think you are underrating his ceiling....he can anchor your first line of defense and is probably the 2nd best defensive prospect in the draft after Isaac. In a league where guys are switching everything, Frank is ideal. I'd need to take a break if Detroit takes Kennard/Mitchell over him.

My thing is, you don't draft a young PG for defense in the lotto.

A european guard noted for his defense on top of that is just.... You can't buy that house.

Not sure what Detroit does. If they don't trade up or trade back I'll be confused and concerned.

Lets get this straight

Ntilikina is an African living in Europe.....not a European :mjpls:
I'll stick with my Jrue Holiday comp. I've seen a bigger George Hill thrown around, too. Don't think any team outside of the top 3 will be disappointed if that held true.

on paper it would make sense.

Fox goes 3, Jackson goes 4, Tatum goes 5 to Boston, and then Isaac is there for Orlando.

That trade would really solidify the top 8 or 9 picks without any suspense.

Mannix was saying it as Sacramento wanted JJ. But I think Armstrong is just throwing shyt against the wall to reporters.

I've been listening to a few NBA ringer podcasts lately

What a bunch of annoying young nerds Simmons hired :scust:
