when you see these eyes that means a big announcement is coming.....

:krs:

@dtownreppin214 - *waiting for you to come in and tell me how this kid had family issues or he wasn't as good as Herman initially thought, so y'all didnt really want him anyway*

'Lac you must not follow recruiting as closely as you used to. This kid has been BEGGING Herman for an opportunity to commit for months. Even an OU mod came out today and said he was silently committed to Texas but Herman recruited over him so he moved on to OU. I like Crawford but there are better players on our board.

:manny: got a commit from a higher rated slot and Waddle and Crawford got more quiet. :manny: would gladly take him too, but more than happy with the guys that have committed(and it sounds like from the chatter) and will commit at the receiver and DB positions he would play.
Waddle is the main player that kept Crawford from joining at UT. He might be the best slot WR in the country. Unfortunately, I'm hearing good ol' Willie Lyles is in Waddle's corner right now.

4th and Goal Every Day is a guidebook to Alabama football’s success under Nick Saban

  • What led to Saban’s “ass-chewing” line about Lane Kiffin after the 2016 Western Kentucky game was a comment made by the offensive coordinator late in the game. When the reserves didn’t run an elaborate play correctly while Saban thought they should be killing the clock, Kiffin apparently said over the headsets, “Dumb players make dumb plays.” Saban snapped back, “No, dumb offensive coordinators call dumb plays.”:pachaha:

Who was his scapegoat last year, since he seemingly does no wrong? :sas1:

Anyone else notice how different the recruiting rankings are this year compared to the recent past?

I remember when there were always 5-6 SEC teams in the top 10 plus Ohio State, Florida State, Clemson, and USC. Now there are just 2 SEC teams in the top 10. With every other power 5 conference having 2 teams in the top 10 as well. Recruiting is finally looking balanced among the conferences.

I know it's early and some teams like Bama are gonna jump right back to the top but it's interesting none the less. I've always maintained the SEC is the best conference because of the players. We recruit the best and then send the most guys to the NFL and those guys have the most success in the NFL.

Now if this is the future of recruiting where only 2-3 SEC teams are in the top 10 alongside 2 teams from the other power 5 conferences, then we have officially hit the end of SEC supremacy.
Noticed this as well. Texas talent staying home, recruits being scared off by possible OleMiss sanctions, better coaching/results in the Big 10/ACC, Taggart doing work are some of the reasons imo. It's going to be very interesting to see this trend continue if teams like Penn State, Miami, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Lville maintain a 9-10 win level.

Man if only Saban didnt treat other grown men like shyt, and didnt have massive....the word is on the tip of my tongue, its like ego plus insight, but I cant remember

anyway, dude would have no flaws as a coach on the collegiate level at Alabama with the SEC's machine behind him. in those specific situations, he cant lose

A lot of people think this kid is the real #1 player in Texas and either him or Overshown have the highest upside. He's originally from the 318 so we'll see what happens...I'm hearing he's going to commit very soon.
From the highlights I saw of the opening he look like the most physical corner

I mean if Kiffin really said "dumb players make dumb plays" then he deserved the ass chewing. That's the only coach he's ever done that to and he doesn't really scold the players that much anymore either.
