McElwain also got an increase for termination without cause from $2.25 million to $2.5 million per contract year remaining.

McElwain’s base pay will be $275,700 per year. The rest comes from the University Athletic Association, TV and radio shows and equipment deals.

I mean...they've earned it so i aint mad at that.

Mac has gotten them to upgrade UF's facilities too cause the talk was that it was outdated and low grade compared to other SEC schools.

See, the previous page is how I don't get how "The Game" is considered this sport's biggest rivalry. None of the talking points Michigan fans have are from their lifetimes. They just get shytted on year by year in every conceivable manner by the other team. From personal experience and stories, the Iron Bowl has been quite competitive since the early to mid 80s, which is generally a time span most adults can concretely remember and feel these games. It's only gotten more competitive since then. But based on that rivalry, Michigan had a choke hold during the 80s and then got fukking parkinson's somewhere during the late 90s and are just flailing around choking on their own vomit at this point. I'm not naming a top rivalry seriously, but whichever one someone picks, it shouldn't be one that hasn't been back and forth competitive in like 50 years.

Weren't you the dude that voted Auburn-Georgia? How are we supposed to take your opinion seriously?

If you would've said the Iron Bowl, or Army-Navy.. I would've understood. But Auburn-Georgia?

What you don't understand is the history in the rivalry of 'The Game' Ohio State's had our number for the past 12-13 years.. but that's the way this rivalry has always gone. There have been countless hearts and seasons broken by both of these teams, in the last game of the regular season. Perfect records shattered. Personal fights. Severe trash talking. Coaches going at it with one another.

I'm assuming you're a younger cat (18-25) .. so I wouldn't expect you to 'get it' But if you do your homework on the rivalry, you'll understand why there's so much hate and animosity between the two schools and fan bases.
