Speaking of facilities. Herman and staff apparently visited some of the top ones for ideas and came away most impressed with Clemson's.

In response to the staff visiting Clemson to check out the facilities

"Yes the staff has toured it specifically (among others) to see the newest and best ideas, and then one-up them all in a couple years with a new facility at UT. Staff said it's the best facility (for on field improvement and for recruiting) and it's not even close. Yes, they have slides and laser tag, but they also have cryotherapy treatment, etc.

Staff says A&M has the best new locker rooms bar none. The new lockers we are doing are but the tip of the iceberg. The locker room renovations are more temporary than permanent. There is phasing required for the grand plan, but we had to do something immediately. After a winning season and off the charts enthusiasm after 2017 season (plus capital plan cemented for b ball), look for an announcement of the most badass facility on the planet. Including further enhancements of the stadium beyond the current Jumbotron and banners. Such as closing in the south end zone.
