What u think about Oklahoma vs Miami in 00-01 instead of FSU?

The homer in me says OU all the way..... but history says that we struggle against Miami in bowl games in Florida. OU needed a late fourth quarter pick 6 vs A&M and a fourth quarter comeback vs Nebraska to even make it to the championship game. Our conference championship game was no joke either. Kansas State fought hard.

OU was battle tested if I remember heupel hurt his shoulder late in season. That A&M was lit I thought they had y'all after Toombs had that big TD run on 4th down to go up remember ordering that on ppv

Every OU fan thought that our run to the championship was over after that TD. Torrance Marshall..... He didn't have many INT's prior to that one, and when he did, he didn't run them back. That made that play even more special.

Those be the breaks..... literally and figuratively..... Injury stole that title vs Florida. If Demarco Murray is healthy, OU wins.... Even though we got killed by USC, Jason White's knees collapsed in consecutive seasons... He was never the same after the second injury. Injury plagued us in 06 too on top of Oregon fukking us in Autzen.

We haven't had a National Championship caliber team since after the Florida loss.
