Man, fukk y'all at FSU. You don't need Taggart as much as we do at Oregon. You will be fine regardless. Hire Sumlin and your recruiting and coaching will be fine, leave Willie alone.Only way this deal falls through is if FSU tries to low ball him. Just give him what Chip Kelly got from UCLA with accelerators and close the deal. I expect him at FSU Monday. Only money can deter this deal. Phil Knight has the cash and FSU will lose if they try to give him a even bigger contract.
I feel sorry for Norte Dame we gon whoop em

Actually one way Oregon could stop the bleeding if Taggart did leave, would be to promote Cristobal to head coach and do everything to keep Leavitt on staff. Leavitt is more of a west coast guy and has friends/family near Oregon, so I wouldn't expect him to follow Taggart. Salave'a would probably stay as well, assuming right head coaching hire. All Taggart's staff he brought from USF is gone and I would assume Cristobal would follow him because of his deep south roots as well. A promotion would keep Cristobal and his recruiting chops out here, also probably help keep some of the current class.
But if they didn't want him, Sumlin would be a great hire.
Don't know...apparently word is Taggart is being very forthcoming internally with Oregon's AD, so if he stays or leaves we will be prepared to make a decision. Got to commend Taggart on that. He has always been a class guy since he has been here.
I don't have any personal issues if Taggart went to FSU. He is Florida born and raised and family is there, can't hate on that. And FSU is one of 10-15 jobs out there that is an upgrade vs. Oregon. He from Flawrida. He belongs to be at home. Money would keep him in Oregon.
Ifhe didn't really want to come then he would have said no from the gate.
But you're right. We can get another coach with good results but Willie will fukk everybody up from getting talent in FL.
Sumlin wouldn't be a bad pick though. But I'd rather have Taggart

Still, have to complain. Y'all will be perfectly fine without him. Straight coaching aspect, he means more at Oregon. Just trying to talk some pity into you guys so you leave him where he is at. We want him at Oregon.
