What did a win do for you this year, like most of those years? It didn't affect us. It didn't affect your standing either. Have to beat both AU and Bama to have a chance at anything.....See you next year.:shaq:
Well at least we got one part of the task down. This has nothing to do with LSU I'm talking bout this idiot who resign with a school who is always flirting with the thought of firing him for losing to Bama and/or Georgia

is it bad that we hope Stidham leaves so we get Gatewood and Willis from the jump???:ld:
Man I dont think we can realistically use Stidham to his potential. Our route trees dont create no separation and he doesnt look to throw 50/50 balls. Our OL aint really never dominant pass blocking so we cant buy him the time. I think he's an elite QB in the right system, but that system isnt here. A Malik Willis can make most of the same throws and can burn in the pocket. I kinda hope Stidham leaves like you saying, but dude does have the potential to be a baller

Ill give Gus SOMETHING of a pass for last night. This team played easily the hardest schedule out there and they were beaten down to death. Gus cant adjust to having his RBs hurt, but at the same time, aint too many run-heavy teams left without their top two RBs. A good part of this might reflect back to recruiting but I digress. I dont think Gus gone be shyt of shyt until he learns how to adjust to blitzes, injuries, and stacked boxes, but whatever

I don't know if Malik is that ready, but I think he could do most of what Stidham does, especially after sitting behind him watching him for a year. We know he has the potential to run, but I don't think he's a Nick Marshall either. He needs experience. But with Gus, you can't tell if he really wants to play Willis or not with Gatewood coming in. He might be thinking of having him in the back-up role for his career, which I hope not, but you can only really have 1 starting qb. If you play more, you don't really have a qb, you have a platoon like we saw with JF3, White, and Johnson.

Ok he beat both of em and still ended up with three losses. Now he has to do it again next year or they'll be on his head again

He got a raise and extension, which means more guaranteed money. He leaves to go to Arkansas, where he can't get the same type of recruits, and starts losing and they will be acting the same way any fans would act. They just got rid of Bret and the AD. They are desperate for anything right now, because Petrino messed up their situation years ago.

Nah Gatewood ain't contributing right out the gate. Dude needs time

Early enrolee they say, big body, 3rd and short machine....I think we'll see him in on some situations next year first game, even with Stidham there. The running game is what hurts with Stidham when he doesn't have a good back to give it to. Gatewood is a threat to run it and cause damage instantly.

I don't even think its that he just doesnt want to use Malik, Gus is just too fukking stubborn to actually develop QBs when given the opportunity in game time. We had no real backup plan if Sean was hurt last year, and instead of letting JF3 run a real gameplan, he just used him to run the clock out. Lo and behold, Sean got hurt and everything went to shyt. Same thing this year. Gus just doesnt know how to adjust (as Ive been stressing), and thats why really why I cant fukk with the man. I've never heard of a coach that just doesnt have a plan B

Malzahn is not like Beliema where he's coming from the Mid west. Malzahn is pretty known in the Southeast area so stealing recruits wouldn't be an issue. If Pertino can have Arkansas playing at a high level why couldn't Malzahn? But he's signed so it is what it is.

It really was a mess for the SEC Championship as far as running backs. But he did put together a great November. Just ran out of gas at the end because of injuries. Next year brings more quality players and most of the team is returning, so another good season, potentially great. I just have reservations about Stidham, because honestly I think he wants to win yeah to a limit, but I think he sees this as a stepping stone to the NFL also. You have to want it to win big.
