That's probably one of the reasons Chip turned down Florida. If he went 8-5 in his first season down there they would've been calling for him to be fired.

It's just a better place to be overall vs Gainesville when you are talking about the general lifestyle. I know I wouldn't want to live in Gainesville. If you can get a job in a decent city and make the money why not? Reports said that is one of the reasons why Chip passed on UF. But also it's a definite advantage to get a school that hasn't had success in decades because they pressure isn't as high. Do at least better than your predecessors in the first couple of years and you are fine. Chip has way more time to develop UCLA and he will. They will be some epic games if Taggart stays at Oregon.
