we had a red shirt freshman last year and the year before we had Greyson Lambert
and the year before that we had the WOAT UGA quarterback Hutson Mason who was 10-for-19 for 123 yards and a touchdown in a 34-7 trouncing
So both teams were average you're saying....exactly.
We have 2 more options at QB this year that are real dual threats, plus one who redshirted last year. We already had a running game, the reason we lost games is because the passing game wasn't there to compliment it and teams just needed to stack the line. We now have quarterbacks, not just 1, but a few with ability. The offense we run requires that, because our QBs will run and sometimes get injured, unless you have a Cam Newton, or Deshaun Watson. Our offense and what Clemson, Arizona State, etc run are from a similar offensive family tree.
Anybody watching the last 2 years can see we didn't have the right talent at QB.
