Les Miles loss to Bama 6 games straight games with players like OBJ, Honey badger and Fournette. LSU was still getting backlash for tryin to fire him. Only way you can fire a coach without backlash is if the decline is obvious like when Texas fired Mack Brown.
Mack Brown and Les won a championship

Gus has done nothing except beat Missouri

Anybody can win a conference championship here, just be decent enough to score 30 points on Alabama and there’s the conference

That fukking fraud sat on a 18 pt lead against the best offense of all time (statistically) in the fukking natty! He hasn’t changed 3 years since then neither :heh:

Mama Nebraska whistles, scott frost will come running

I don’t know bruh. Word down here in Orlando is that this may very well be his last season at UCF, but he’s loving the talent down here. It allows him to run his style of play. Both offensively and defensively. I’d look out for Tennessee, and Auburn (if they make a move)

Word is he’d even be ok with staying at UCF. Look at all he’s doing with FSU, Miami and UF leftovers. If he were to start bringing in even better talent.. :steviej:

this is as good a season ever for us to cop a new coach. Alot of mass exodus occurred last year (which prevented us from firing Gus in the first place). We wont face too much competition, especially if Tenn has Gruden and Sumlin keeps winning. Id take a Scott Frost offense, Ive always wanted some Oregon tendencies here :wow:

Have to keep the defense on track. If Gus is gone then the whole staff probably is. Might need to look at a defensive head coach, and get the best offensive coordinator we can. We can't fall off on D and win...seems like changing offensive coordinators every few years is better than trying to change defensive schemes that often. Chizik is still the head coach (defensive background) that was in charge when we did win the whole thing. Malzahn was a fresh coordinator that unleashed his offense on the conference with one of the best college QBs in history...

That’s why I’ve wanted heavy to fire Gus off rip and promote Steele/Garner to interim status. I wouldn’t be mad if they succeed and Lindsey’s actual offense shines. Keep everybody (except fukking kodi burns) and run it back
