they were calling for Doeren's head heavy for the past two years
He finally got it together in year 5 now that he has an old team and brought some gamers back on both sides.
I wouldn't hire him. Fools gold. Same way the Fedora buzz cooled, Doe's buzz will cool too when they go back to losing to ECU regularly.
Don't be fooled. Need another year to see if Doe has finally made that leap. He'll lose a lot on both sides of the ball going into next season, but if NC State goes back to not even looking competitive and coached up and unable to close out games then...
And winning 8 games is nothing when 4 teams on your schedule are patsies .... I still think he has struggled to even get to 8 wins during his tenure. And he did that ONCE. Shyt, he just won his first ACC road game this fukkin year.
He didn't even have an acc road win for a long time ... He's 9-23 in ACC play
He has fukked over a lot of talent...And he inherited that N. Illinois squad that had that crazy run.
