Ah, point taken

Yeah going to nebraska vs Oregon > watching Michigan vs cinciannti on tv, plus, Michigan cinci is at 9am here, and Oregon nebraska is at 1:30, so, I get to watch both.

I've been to Autzen like 5 times...just a fan of the game and Autzen stadium >>>>>> husky stadium.
Autzen stadium is dope. Worth the effort if anyone has a chance to go. But being honest here...which no one will really do about Autzen stadium...when it is going it is one of the loudest stadiums in football, the hype is true, but it hasn't been really going in quite a while. Partly due to the fact the team has been sliding a bit and partly because since the stadium remodel things have changed. Many argue that the remodel affected the sound quality. Not sure if that is true or not, since it coinsided with some other things. Mainly the new UO fan, who is entitled and likes that new money success. They like to drop money on gear and travelling to games, but they have hurt the atmosphere of the stadium and the team in general IMO. Oddly games weren't as loud as they should have been during the Chip Kelly era because of that entitlement and they always felt Oregon would win, because that is what they did. It wasn't the old days were we felt like underdogs and the fans became the 12th man disrupting the opponents.

That said, this could change quite a bit. I am 100% on board this Willie Taggart movement and I think not only is he providing the players on the team with the opportunity to have swagger, but I think he could change the culture of the stadium atmosphere. There is a buzz about him among the fan base and if he has success, he will be far more vocal in trying to get the fans a part of the experience. He is already saying that he wants his players to continue swag surfing on the sideline and wants the fans to start doing it as well.

I think the Nebraska game could be a fun one to be at. Because of the Taggart hype, I think a lot of fans are expecting a better season than is realistic, and Nebraska is a big name school and it really helps that Mike Riley (ex-Oregon State) is the coach...add in the fact fans were pissed at Helfrich for going for 2 every time last year. This could have a bit of a rivalry atmosphere and one where the fans feel far more is at stake than anyone else around the country will ever realize.

Have fun at the game breh, should be a blast. :salute:

Griwing up going to and working at michigan stadium, and going to Century link to see the seahawks, the noise wasnt really impressive in anygame except for ine vs az st i went to. Ive been to the michigan state, tn, i think cal, az st, and the noise wasnt anything amazing, other than maybe the shout chant. The stadium itself is SO OPPOSITE of michigan stadium though, i like the comparison. Old michigan stadium was very understated before the luxury boxes....autzen looks like a space stadium at night :heh:

I'm looking forward to it, its always a good road trip, i love college towns and i'll get some bbq and go to the ninkasi brewery on friday

Cincy game got you bums so nervous you googling what anybody got to say about the game. I get it Fickell been owning you guys the last 5 years. That won't change come Saturday

:rudy:That Adam Sandler look-a-like got out-coached by Brady Hoke. We'll probably accidentally blow them out like we did Rutgers last year.

Why does your avi have nut on his face?:dame:

The stadium looks better now, at least the new half that I do want them to do the other half to complete it and it will look much more suited to their image of having nice things. A lot of old timers say it was louder and the remodel affected the acoustics. That I don't know because I was younger then and don't remember as clearly. I do know that the change in being the underdog vs. favorite and having the fans feel entitled has affected things negatively.

Have you been there since they re-did the players facilities (the big black Star Wars facility)? They are crazy. I haven't seen the newest Mariota building remodel yet.

Where are you planning on having BBQ at? If you go to Ninkasi, Papa's Soul Food is just around the corner and it is good eats.

Have a good time. I think the atmosphere will be pretty good for Nebraska.

The tiger bowl has lowkey been a lit rivalry. Clemson has had our ass but aside from that game it's been a to the very last play type. I think our defense is perfectly built to stop their offense, I just don't know if we've progressed enough on offense to beat them. Just about how good we can manage drives
